How to Play Online Craps
This is a dice game where players place bets on the outcome of the roll – or a series of rolls – of a pair of dice. Players can place bets against the bank. The person running the bank is called the boxman for the purpose of the craps games. A stickman is standing directly across the table from the boxman calls out the results of a roll and direct payment of bets and are assisted by two base dealers. This is a fast paced game when playing it live.
Mobile Craps Online Rules
The player throwing the dice is called a shooter. The shooter has to bet on the Pass Line or Don’t Pass line. These are the Win or Don’t Win or Right and Wrong bets. The game is played in rounds and these Pass and Don’t Pass line bets are betting on the outcome of a round. Each round has two phases namely the come-out and point phases. The shooter throws two dice to start a round. A come-out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called craps or crapping out and any bets on the Pass Line are lost. A come-out roll of 7 or 11 is called a natural and the Pass Line wins. Point numbers are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. If the shooter throws these numbers, it gives a point which needs to be passed to win. The Point number has to be thrown again before a 7. If the shooter throws 7 before the Point number is repeated, the Pass Line loses the round.
This is a variation of the original game and is sometimes known as Las Vegas craps. This variant is quite popular in Nevada but it’s the online availability which made this game popular. It uses a special table layout and all bets are made against the house. The dice are thrown over a wire or string which is stretched a few inches above the table’s surface.
Crapless or Bastard Craps
This variation is a simple version of the original game and is normally played as an online private game. The biggest difference between this and the original version of the game is the shooter has a house edge of 5.38%. Bets can also be placed on 2, 3, 11 or 12 before a 7 has been thrown.
New York Craps
This variation of craps is quite popular on the East coast of the USA. It uses a different table layout, has a greater than normal house edge and uses a double end dealer table. There are no Come or Don’t Come line bets in this version. Bets are place on box numbers instead.
